Obituary for Jedarious M "J.D." Langston

Jedarious Marquis Langston was born on June 12, 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia to Stacia Langston and Steve Smith.

Jedarious attended Breakthrough Christian Center beginning at a young age.

Jedarious began his education at Trinity A.M.E. Learning Center and continued his education in the Atlanta Public Schools System. While at Stephenson Middle School, he was a member of the school’s dance team, and gospel choir. He was also a member of the Woolfolk Boys and Girls Club.

Following his high school career, Jedarious became a dedicated employee of Willy’s Mexican Grill. His ultimate goal was to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License and work as a truck driver.

On Thursday, August 10, 2017, Jedarious entered into eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Stacia Langston; his beautiful sister, Raven Langston; his four active and loving nephews, Timothy Jr., Takarie, Timeion, and Tyson; grandmother, Ella McCrory; caring and loving uncle and aunt, Ravie and Lydia (“Auntie Pooney”); special friend of the family and best friend, Zay; Mr. Floyd, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 19th, 2017, 11:00 am, at Herschel Thornton Mortuary 3346 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW Atlanta, Georgia 30331. Interment Lincoln Cemetery.

Public Viewing will be Friday, August 18th, 2017 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Herschel Thornton Mortuary 3346 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW Atlanta, Georgia 30331.
