Lee Nelson Tucker, a young, spirited boy, was born on July 23, 1942 in Sparta, Georgia to Reverend Darrell Tucker and Fannie Evelyn Taylor Tucker. He was the youngest of six children.
Nelson had a wonderful personality, and made friends with nearly everyone he met. He was known in the community as “Big Pally.” He was full of laughter and was a beast on the grill. Nelson loved to talk junk at the bid whist table, too. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching basketball, western movies, fishing at Jackson Lake, and driving fast cars (preferably his Maverick called “Road Runner”).
Nelson recently rededicated his life to Christ, as his Lord and Savior. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Nelson leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Brenda L. Tucker; two sisters, Louise Clayton, and Fronnie Jennings; one brother, Raymond Tucker; two daughters, Shelia Longino, and Shalonda Freeman; two sons, Keith Lumpford, and Darren Tucker; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and an endless number of friends and loved ones.
